Production Upgrade at Ring'wani Serengeti Gold Mine

Client: Ring’wani Gold Mining Location: Serengeti, Tanzania Project Status: Ongoing Objective: Increase gold ore production from 5 tons/day to 100 tons/day We are currently engaged in a strategic consulting and engineering project at Ring’wani Serengeti, aimed at transforming their Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining (ASM) operations into a more efficient and mechanized process. 🔹 Current Operation: The site currently operates at approximately 5 tons of ore per day, using a mono rope system to extract ore via shallow shafts a typical approach in small-scale mining. 🔹 Project Scope: To meet growing demand and enhance safety and productivity, we are implementing a transition to a vertical shaft system, incorporating an 8-ton capacity winch. This modern lifting solution will allow for more efficient ore hoisting and support deeper mining operations. 🔹 Goals & Outcomes: • Expand daily ore output to 100 tons • Improve operational safety and reliability • Lay the groundwork for future mechanized and semi-industrial mining scale-up This transition represents a major step forward for Ring’wani Serengeti, bridging the gap between artisanal methods and formal, sustainable mining practices. Stay tuned for updates as we implement phase-by-phase upgrades and training.
